Synopsis
Stuff You Should Know is a long running, award-winning series of podcast that cover a broad range of topics in a relaxed, conversational style, such that by the end, listeners have a “basic working knowledge” of the subject at hand.
In this episode, the two presenters discuss PTSD. They talk through how sufferers of PTSD relive the worst moments of their lives and attempt to inform listeners about the condition and how it’s leading to an understanding of memory. Although they state upfront PTSD can arise from many different traumas, they basically only refer to military trauma in this episode, which I must admit is really frustrating for me.
